Christmas Windows of London – Part 2

Here’s the second instalment of our imagery from some of this years best windows in and around London…

Harvey Nichols

This years theme is based around magical fairy tales, with mannequins dressed as fantastical creatures in an enchanted forest environment, with the metallic tree trunks brought out onto the frontage of the building for extra visual excitement.

Harrods

The team at Harrods take you the land of make believe, with displays full of oversized toys, some of which have been created by luxury designers. Full of details and a number of moving elements, these windows capture the attention of adults and children alike.

Burberry

Burberry have joined in the trend for little characters which we are seeing in quite a few windows this year. Playing on the Britishness of the brand, along with what at first glance appear to be wooden toy characters (but include not only top hatted gentlemen, but punk rockers and bobbies on the beat!) these windows exemplify the brands premium, but quirky personality.

Gucci

Gucci have opted for classic baubles (the oversized element again like lots of windows) in deep metallic and mirror finishes. Interestingly New Look have a similar window display, and it’s interesting to compare the two.
