Simply. Gorgeous. These are the first two words that spring to mind when I think of Coast’s revamp of their flagship store on Oxford Street, London. Lee Broom, who has previously worked with Vivienne Westwood, has collaborated with Coast to design their fresh new look. Lee has been taken on at an extremely exciting time for Coast, and has really taken the time to understand the brand and what it represents, and this has been reflected in the stores new design.
The store feels instantly fresh with white walls and ceilings, and also provides an interactive space to engage the consumer on their journey through the store. The lighting brings the store alive, especially with a little runway displaying mannequins with attitude.
As a whole the whole store has a very premium feel to it. It has a calming effect and makes you feel as though time is on your side; you can casually stroll around admiring their collection without a care in the world.
Broom has designed every aspect of this 1 million pound store, and in true style has put his own touch of style to it by creating spellbinding areas with the illusion of drama and escapism.
And to finish it off the marble staircases are seriously impressive. Broom’s whole concept oozes modern sophistication, with a touch of traditional architecture.
