Here’s some photos of the windows around town this October
Coast have already put their Christmas window scheme it would seem, lot’s a present boxes in an overflowing display, the best bits though are the little mirror gold artist maquettes which bring a sense of fun and an extra layer to the display.
LK Bennett have filled their window bed with various coloured mirror balls, and the continuing trend for and army of mannequins in the window.
Some stores have jumped onto the Halloween vibe, with H+M proudly professing their love for the event, others have gone to town for this annual event.
Oasis have a fun fair inspired window, and they always bring this into the store effectively in Argyll street, with their instore window space providing a great location for that dramatic first impression.
We have seen a lot of ‘bobs’ when it comes to wigs with mannequins, Zara have experimented with a double layered version in contrasting colours.
Jaegers window features a sweeping floating fabric bridge, with lambs/sheep merrily running and walking down this magical road. A very different style of window for this brand, much more theatrical then their previous window displays.
Topshop were just finishing installation of this neon tube window, with a floor to ceiling neon chandelier shining like a beacon – now that nights are getting darker the retail windows with lights become extremely effective.
Finally we loved this idea of incorporating mannequin legs with 3D graphics in a very tongue in cheek display, which works perfectly with a lingerie/underwear brand.
Retailers will be installing their Christmas windows over the next month, and we will be bringing you some of the best examples to our blog, stay tuned!
