Retail Design Expo 2016

This years Retail Design Expo showcased Global Displays unified vision for retail interiors, combining design, shop fixtures, mannequins and visual merchandising.

Conceived as a pop-up store for Global Display, the exhibition space featured a collection of curated elements, highlighting the diverse expertise and bespoke solutions we offer to retailers and brands.

As retail develops and grows into an ever more experiential based activity, the synergy between all of the instore elements is vital to ensure a cohesive and memorable shopper journey.

The four divisions of Global Display emphasise the importance of this synergy and provide retailers and brands with an efficient route from concept, through manufacture to installation.

RETAIL FURNITURE

To highlight the diverse range of expertise in the manufacture of retail furniture, Global Display curated a collection which reflects some of the recent client projects in the UK, South Africa, Europe and Australia.

Combining creativity, with technical development and high quality manufacture, the collection featured a unique grey timber finish, developed exclusively for the RDE exhibition.

Global Display believes that the retail interiors of the future will become spaces not just to experience, but to discover. Where the individuals journey is personalised through the way in which they choose to interact with the store environment.

This vision was showcased on the stand through a number of hidden details, from a flip top table for flexible display opportunities, to textured under table surfaces and messages that reveal themselves, creating a unique way to experience a retail space.

The ECO – mannequin, shortlised for the RDE Innovations Award offers a truly unique and patented process to deliver a sustainable alternative to fibreglass without compromising the design or quality of the mannequin. The innovation continues with a new black finish developed and launched for this event.
